In 2021 CityShares supported community engagement coordination and strategy for Designing Justice, Designing Spaces (DJDS), an Oakland, CA-based architecture firm with a mission to unbuild racism. In 2022 , CityShares will convene a Community Activators Board to drive the temporary activation of vacant land owned by DJDS at the corner of Grand River and 14th Streets in Detroit.
